Pass
one on.

Offside is a state of mind. So is looking out for the people around you. Pass one good piece of clothing to someone who needs it, directly or through a local organization.

See how it works

One action. No sign‑up.

Most closets hold clothes that are in good shape and never get worn. Somewhere nearby, a person is looking for exactly that: a jacket, a pair of shoes, something that fits and feels good to put on.

Pass One On is a short, specific way to close that gap. You do it yourself, on your own time, directly with a person or through a local organization. There is nothing to buy, no money to send us and nothing to register for.

How it works

  1. Pick one piece

Clean, in good shape, something you would hand to a friend.

  2. Ask first

Ask a local clothing closet what it needs, or ask the person you have in mind.

  3. Hand it over

Give it in person, privately and kindly.

Optional: share this page with a friend.

Give well

Good intentions can still create work for the people on the receiving end. Charities report spending real money and staff time on donations they cannot use.

The guide covers what to ask, what to avoid and what makes a piece of clothing worth passing on.
